I just recently purchased a used 82 F150 AM & FM Cassette Player to install in my 83 F150 which originally used to have a AM/FM Radio but years ago installed a Pioneer Supertuner II that finally crapped out on me. I tried to install it last night but it looks like the radio doesn't match up to the metal bracket for the radio or the plastic XLS radio/heater faceplate. I read somewhere that Ford switch their face style of radio in 83, I just can't remember what mine looked like back then? Can anyone tell me if the 82 radio should fit or do I need different style brackets? Thanks!
