Hello. I recently bought a 2016 f150 it showed android auto. I recently updated from 2.0 to 3.0 and the icon disappeared. Not even an icon to enable it. Do i have to replace the usb module? Any help would be appreciated

 

I have a 2015 Ford F350 SD Platinum SRW that I just updated the Sync to Sync 3. I updated my Android Auto in my S10 and found that the Icon for it had disappeared from the Home screen. I finally found a YouTube video that showed how to change the battery settings in my S10 that allowed the Android Auto to come up automatically on the Sync 3 system as soon as the USB cable was plugged in. After changing a few settings the Android Auto has been working as it is supposed to. The setting changes in the S10 were very simple. The research to find the fix was a pain in the neck.
