Ball joint Press tool for F-150

1995 F-150 2 Wheel Drive...

I need to replace my upper and lower ball joints, Will a ball joint press tool be required? If so, which one? (part number?)...

Thanks

Most auto supply stores sell the tool kit to replace those joints. Requires some special spacers and the clamp alone is not enough. Be prepared to shell out some bucks for a decent kit. Pays to shop around.

I bought the master adaptor set from napa, it covers pretty much all domestic.

If you are only planning to use the tool once check if you can rent the tools from an auto supply store. If you buy a cheap set sometimes the job is harder . Good quality tools can make a world of difference with some jobs . It doesn't make a lot of sense to buy a cheap tool and "bust your knuckles" when you can rent a decent one to use only once.
