Bigger tires for F-150?
Hey, I just purchased a 1995 F-150 and it has 235/75R15 tires. I'm entertaining the idea of putting larger tires on it, but want to fully understand the results I would get if I do so.
I've been told that my Speedometer might go out if i do. And that I need to check if the truck will be able to handle a larger tires size.
Advice?

When looking at using a larger tire, you need to ensure that the new rims will fit around the brake calipers. Then you need to look at the offset of the rim to ensure that the new tire stays centered in the wheel well to ensure equal clearance. Also, depending on how large you go, you also need to verify turning clearance within the wheel well.
As far as you speedometer goes, "Primem" is correct. The larger you go, the slower your speedometer will read. I run the largest tire you can fit on a Freestar and my speedometer reads 5% slower than actual speed.
