body lift
I'm contemplating doing a 3 inch body (not suspension) lift on my 78 Ford F150 shortbed. I currently have 35 X 12.50 BF Goodrich agressive tread tires on it. I've not had a problem with them rubbing yet, but they do come close on some of the mountain roads around here. What I need to know is what kind of handling and hidden problems might I run into?

i personally havent done a body lift, but know a couple of people that have. handling issues, your center of gravity is gonna be higher so the truck will feel tippier. umm, as for hidden problems, if youre trucks a manual tranny, then look for a body lift with a shift linkage enxtender, or sumthin like that, i had a friend do a lift in his ranger and his shifter ended up being too low to drive the truck comfortably. and also look for an extension for your steering linkage. and if you do a body lift, then put gap gaurds in the fenders so it doesnt look so wierd.
