I have a 2000 F-150 with a broken drink holder (actually it is a broken spring inside the drink holder that pops it out when pushed in) that I am trying to repair. I have contacted a parts supplier and was told the spring itself is not available and I would have to replace the whole thing...expensive.

So my question is this

1. Is there a place that I could just purchase the spring?

2. Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the drink holder showing how the spring is installed?
