Clicking noise when trying to start F150>> Help

Default 2004 F150 6 cylinder

i have a ford F150 6 cylinder it justed clicks when i tey to start it

Default 2008 f150 clicking niose

after i drive my truck and any point after, i try to restart my 2008 f150 4.6 litre, it makes a clicking noise, when i get a boost it'll start, what is this solniod?

Welcome to the site..

If it jump assist starts every time, as a start, I'd have the battery load tested. As long as their testing, check the rate of charge as well.

i would say it,s the battery, battery terminals dirty or the solenoid ! the solenoid is on the inner fender next to the battery !
