I've got a 99 F150 and the club cab door will not open. Is this something I can fix or do I have to take it to a body shop to get repaired?

 

if no one has helped you on this yet or you haven't already gotten it, I had this problem recently and found a quick fix for it..take off the door panel, had to crawl in backseat and work from inside of vehicle to do all this, there are two clips that you need a long flat head for you kinda have to pull the plastic back and you will see them, push them in with the screw driver as you pull on plastic and they will come out. Mine was the top latch cable that broke.To fix it I just pulled the cable a little and then took a zip tie and put the cable in a little bit of a bind. A new cable from ford is like 200 bucks, so the zip tie was quick and fairly easy. Hope this helps, if you need more info let me know, I might have a few pics of it from when I done mine
