Hi,

DTC code (P1518) has appeared on my 99 F-150. 4.2L. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm going to pickup a repair manual today, but I was hoping someone could shed some light on the situation. I'm no mechanic so if it's too complicated, I may have to bring it in. :-)

You can a visual of the intake manifold runner system, but otherwise you will need a bidirectional scanner to fully diagnose this code.

You do not have to remove anything to see the linkage on the manifold.
