I Have a 1994 Ford F-150 4x4 w/ e4od tranmission. My question is will a 2wd tramission work in this truck if the tailshafts are changed? The tranmission i have now is d.r.t. (dead right there). I need to replace the transmission and was wondering if this an acceptable swap.

The main shaft would need to be swapped/replaced as well.. The unit would need to be completely broken down to do the swap..
