Cool F-150 V8 or V6? Which to buy?

I'm looking to replace my Sport Trac with a 2010 - 2014 F-150 but I'm not sure if I should go with a V8 or the 3.5 twin turbo with 100k or more miles? Good or bad points? I want a 4dr cab preferably a 5.5ft bed. I no longer tow anything but I do need to be able to flat tow it behind my motorhome. I wish I could afford something newer or with fewer miles but that's not in the cards with prices so crazy.
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Safer bet is the V-8 as it eliminates a not uncommon point of failure and an expensive repair. With turbos the lubrication is very important and I would want to have access to the service records for the truck - actually for any vehicle whiich is why I prefer to buy from a private party. People foolishly rely on Carfax which provides no information on maintenance and repairs done on a vehicle.
