I reciently purchased a 1989 Ford F150. I have noticed that after the truck is driven about 15 miles the oil pressure will drop to 0 only when you are setting at a stop light. To get the oil pressure back to normal you can just bring the idle up a very little bit. Is this being caused by the sending unit or is it electrical or truely poor oil pressure? New to Ford's appreciate any input.
