Its perfectly fine to run a BL and a Suspension lift. I run a 4' suspension lift and a 1.25' BL on my Wrangler with 35's. Are you going to do any off-roading or is it going to be a pavement pounder. Im not a fan of body lifts over 1' they look stupid and if your body mount bolts break from all the stress its not going to be pretty.

thanks for the reply, thats what i wanted to hear.
I am defenatly going to go off-roading, i hate when people have nice trucks and all they do is drive to work. It's just too much fun off-roading.
I have a few more questions now....
would you say that the more body lift you have the more dangerous it is?
How is the shift linkage of a standard trans affected?

thanks

Once again the taller the BL the more of your shifter is going to be gone. If you have a 1' BL you lose 1' off of your stick, and so on. For linkage problems, this is why I only have a 1.25' lift, I dont have any linkage problems. I can shift fine and I can put it in 4wd just as easly. What size lift are you going to go with and what brand. Are you installing the lift? you can easly do a BL yourself, all you have to know is how to turn a wrench and operate a floor jack. Its really not more dangerous to have a taller BL, but its just not great for it, the stress on the bolts is the only thing that worries me. all you are doing is putting plastic pucks in between the body mounts, if you do a 3' BL then your bolts are going to be 3' longs = more prone to breaking
