I've been looking around to buy my first truck and I've come to the conclusion that a F-150 is right for me. I've used this forum to help answer some previous questions and now I'm just asking for some general advice, given some personal preferences and a few links to cars I've been looking at.
First of all, I'm buying used so I'm trying to make sure I go about it smart. I was thinking that a regular cab or XL-type models would be the best for me. I was also thinking it's better to have an old truck with low miles than the other way around, but I could be wrong. Also, I was a little curious as to the differences between some of the V6 and V8 engines for the 150. My thought was that a V8 would potentially save more gas, given the size of the vehicle?
Any advice or insights you have would be much appreciated. I've attached a few links below and was hoping to get some feedback on quality, comparative price, etc...
