misfire

Default misfire

hi i have a 2003 ford f150 . i put it on computer and it game me the code for misfire on cyl 2 i was woundring what could cause it and shes a lil jerky

Have you tried anything to begin with? If not, start simple with spark plugs.

This should be a coil on plug motor. I would replace the spark plug, but also the coil boot, as it acts like a bad plug wire. You can buy them separate from the coil and they just pull off the coil and slip back on. The run between 12 and 20 bucks for the boot and the plug is about 7.

i tried new plugs and boots,,, im think its the coil because im getting the same code4 po302
