Default Need help with 2000 f150 transmission

I have a 2000 F150 with a triton 5.4 and a 4spd OD automatic transmission that lost reverse. I have been trying to figure out what trans I have in my truck as I only have the casting numbers, the trans tag is missing. The numbers cast on the side are RF F7AP-7006-AA, there is a W on the tailshaft housing, and the pan says metric with 14 bolts and is mostly square. If i can figure out what this is I can find a replacement or alternate. I have looked on line for casting decoders but they all seem to stop with manufacturing up to 1999 and I havent seen anything with numbers even close to what I have. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site..

It should be a 4R70W

Should you ever need to ID a trans, look at the VC (vehicle certification) label in the driver door jamb.. Trans code is under 'TR' to the right of Axle.. Yours would be a U code..
