Its done with the adjustment sleeves.. They look like a 'split' collar with 2 lock bolts, one at each end.. The adjustment screw/nut on the box is for the gear lash adjustment.

okay so straightening the wheel should be fairly easy provided nothing else is wrong with what i did? shouldnt be more then an hour or so shop time?

okay so 40 dollar seal has now turned into almost 700 dollars...new seal new pitman arm, new left and right upper control arms, new left and right outer tierod ends, and tomorrow an alignment...

guy at the shop says the 1/4 turn of play in the wheel is typical for raybestos pitman arm install and will easily be re aligned during front end alignment.
