With the Tow package, the max load is over 9000lbs. I can't be real specific, but I think it is in excess of 9500lbs. I just bought a 05 4x4 F150 and am very happy.

Also, regarding the first question at the top.... The Service mgr told me that it takes approximately 500 miles before the computer is fully calibrated. That may explain some of your changes. Mabey.

Cold air and exhaust is going to be what most people tell you, but to be honest you are not going to notice much of a difference. To get the power gains you are looking for go with an ECU upgrade such as Hypertech or a suppercharge such as Whipple.

I've heard that for 2006 F150 the Sirius Satellite Radio will be available as an option, I have a 2005 F150, and I want the factory mounted sirius radio, where I can get it, at any dealership?, How much it would cost, thanks in advance for the info...

I am also a new F150 owner. Mine is a 05 FX4, with the 5.4. I want to put on cat back duals and some type of cold air intake, I like the Injen power flow intake http://www.autoanything.com/products..._intake_system

sorry I dont think I needed all of the info I just pasted! Anyhow, I would like feedback about these mods for the 05. At some point also I would like to do what DFS inc. suggested with an ECU upgrade. In a thought about what yawgom noted about the slowness of the 5.4, It may be wishful thinking but it seems to me it gets up to 90mph quickly and without me hardly aware of the speed. My wife has actually driven the truck more than I have and she said the same thing about it being deceptive. The trans is very smooth at least thats my impression. I will note though that I read in a magazine article that they felt it was slower than it should be for the horses it has. It probably does take some time to break in, more than a 100 miles anyway. nuff said 4 now...and thanks...
