Default New Owner needing info

Hello every one hopfully this will be my only post lol. I am a first time ford owner, switched for Land Rover. I just baught a 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 crew cab. I was just wondering if thier is any thing i need to keep an eye out for. I wont this to be a good experence not like my Rover desaster. So any help would be great like what oil runs best in ford, should i use the premum gas of is it ok running the cheap stuff. just stuff like that well thanks a lot and have a great day.

Depending on your driving you should be fine with the cheap gas but you will likely notice a differance by using a little better grade. No real reason to put premium in it. The best oil is clean oil every 3000 miles. I know some will swear by the synthic but what ever you use change it often. It is cheap and there is no easy fix for not changing it regularly. The rear axle seals are known to leak, not real common thou. You should have very few problems with that truck if you take care of it. If it has the Hanook tires on it look for replacements, they wear poorly.
