That's going to take some really creative ingenuity to do that...

I just put a double din in my 07 which had a single in it. It wasn't too bad I had to do some careful cutting to make it match everything else tho.

From single din to double din.. I love it !!! Now I have GPS, Cd, SD, FM oh and rear video too along with another video port so Yep it's all good.

That looks good!! But for those of us who own an 8th gen '92 though '96, there's just no room to work with....

wow...hummm...let me think here
Is there enough room behind the dash and under the radio to fit it in,, If so I would cut in a bit above where the radio is now and a bit below then kinda match it right in with plastic or bondo,, then paint it. That would be tricky but if ya had enough room under the radio i would do it...

Did ya check to see how much room is under and over the radio, What I would do here is; If your like me that is... I would remove the radio and all racks, attachments see exactly how much room you have to play with, Remove the header over the top of the radio. Cut out what was needed to mount the double din.. some come with a rack to mount first which is better cause you can see what's going on. Then I would fit it over and over again until I get it just right. Hopefully the top portion of the dash is only plastic and you can heat it just a bit and slowly push it up to give you the room your system needs but go very slow with the heat and pushing up the center portion so ya don't distort it to much. Just take your time and when ya get aggravated just walk away for a while and come back to it. Then after the mounting is done slowly fit the header portion until you match it back up.. heat works very well but not to much. I use a map heat gun when needed for all my installs just to move the things that aren't needed slightly out of the way. Wire it up and check it out. Detail work best when thought about first so dig in and have a ball..

Also keep in mind that the XL header I see in the pic may just be a trim piece so I would look into going down some also. But see what kind of room ya have after the system is out .. brackets and all/Whatever isn't needed for the new system.. Good Luck and let us know how ya make out bud..pic's too...

Looking somemore you may be able to cut down to just above the heater header too. So the options are there...
