Ok, apparently I'm really old. I hate streaming music while using Google Maps with Android Auto on my Pixel 6. I know it can be done but what a pain in the butt especially when I get a call at the same time. I had this displeasure on a long road trip in my wife's new Hyundai.
I'm about to take delivery of a new King Ranch and I know there will not be a CD player.
Will the truck audio recognize a thumb drive with music?
I own a ton of CDs, can I buy an external auto USB CD player and play it through the vehicle audio system?

 

2022 Explorer has no CD player. I bought a portable Walkman type (KLIMM) but it would not Bluetooth to Sync system. Bought an FM adapter (Monster brand, $18 @ Walmart) that plugs into cig lighter. Tune to unused FM station (like 107.1) & CDs play through radio. It does not work through USB, and there is no aux jack. Works well through FM if there is no bandwidth slop like in big cities. I need to Velcro it somewhere.
