Noise from under the hood
Does anyone know if this noise is a belt or pulley only makes the noise in the morning and when accelerating but as the day goes on it goes away.

Ohh this is you with the engine replacement.
Start vehicle, open hood, take long screw driver end on pulley bolts that do not rotate, for ones that rotate put screw driver on closest non moving part. Put ear on handle end of screw driver, see where noise is loudest. You can also put the screw driver against the engine case to listen to engine sounds. Sometimes non OEM belts make noise. Using the screw driver is a cheap version of a mechanics stethoscope.
Since they just replaced your engine you could bring it back and let the dealer deal with this and I do not think you would have a deductible.

they said that there going to replace the ac belt and serpentine belt. Since it only does it in the morning and gets better as the engine heats up. They actually had to replace all the timing in the engine they installed I didn’t pay for anything. I didn’t even have to pay my deductible.
