I have a 1994 f150 I-6 and it died going down the road and won't start back up. I KNOW, I KNOW. You're going to tell me tfi module but I have worked on Fords for quite a while and this module is mounted on the fender wall and they usually don't go out over there. I'm not ruling it outas that might be my next step. Here's the deal, it cranks fine but has absolutely no spark. The coil checks out, I changed all the plugs, wires, d-cap, and rotor button, as well as the distributor pick-up in the distributor and still don't have fire. Fuel pump comes on fine and all fuses and relays are fine. I have a question. I have tested the wires that plug into thecoil with a test light. The red wire has power when the ignition is on and the yellow one does not. If I remember correctly, the red wire is from the ignition switch and the yellow wire is from the pick-up. What I want to know is if the yellow wire also goes through the tfi?

What ya think?
