2018 Cab plus 150 8' ft. bed. I was standing in the bed of my truck and noticed that the Blue paint had flacked off in the rain gutters on each side of the cab. No damaged paint anywhere else on the roof. I have only 30,000 miles . Called Ford to see what's up with my roof and the rep just blew me off. Just wanted to let me know not under warrantee. Isn't ford curious about why the paint is flacking off revealing the white primer???? Bummed.

 

My F150 is waaay older than yours. There were paint issues going back to the late 80"s. Back then, there was an unpublished recall for paint flaking off. The ones who complained got their trucks repainted. I would not give up and perhaps check with another dealer or a district manager..
