My recommendation, stay with a stock fan/shroud system which is very sufficient in keeping engine temps at where they are supposed to be. I sure do not see any advantage to the silicon hoses either. If you are restoring your truck for show, more will be impressed with a stock setup instead of an aftermarket components.
