I am looking into buying a used 1997 150 4x4 XLT , with the V8, and it has 250,000 miles. It is in very good cosmetic condition inside and out and the owner has had no mechanical problems with the truck and said they have done normal scheduled maintenance. What are problems that typically occur with these trucks, and what is the typical life of the truck of this year? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and here are some pictures for anyone who would like to take a look. Thanks
