Default Resister

I have a 92 f-150 with a I-6. I just noticed about last week that the lower settings for my heater and a/c doesnt work. I replaced the blower motor today and I was wondering if the resister has anything to do with this problem. If there are any other things it could be, those suggestions would be helpful too. The setting works on high its just the lower settings that doesnt work. Thanks for the help

Default RE: Resister

Most times its the blower resistor.. Jump the coils, or the harness plugs to verify its not a switch problem for fan speeds.. The thermal limiter (looks like a diode) in the coil sets usually burns out..
