Question Restoring 1985 f150

Hi everyone my boys and I are restoring 1985 ford f 150 king cab 8 ft bed 351w automatic. Ok here is the scenario I have a chance to buy a 1983 ford f250 frame with a 4-speed manual tranny and the transfer it is a rolling chassis. Will I be able to take my 351w motor and bolt up to the 1983 tranny or should I just put my tranny and transfer case and engine on the f250 frame and will it work.

AS long as the 250's transmission is a 6 bolt small case it will bolt up
what engine was in the 250? If it was a 460, no way...
Ford used two transmission bolt patterns small and large. 460 is large,
not counting the FE series which was a more rounded bolt pattern
the 351w uses the same bolt pattern as the 302, 289, Cleveland except for the 400
which used the large bolt pattern

Well, would I be able to use my 351w and tranny and transfer on the f250 frame?

I can not say about the transfer case, I know nothing about them
You can use your 351W engine, you might need to change the
motor mounts...
I'd stop by a good local Transmission shop and ask a few questions,
Best
