Default Ride and Handling

I have a question about my truck's "ride". For the record, I have 22" wheels and tires, so I'm pretty sure those have something to do with it. My question is: when i get on the freeway and I hit 60 MPH and up, my stick starts to shake pretty rapidly in 5th gear, and the overall ride is really shaky and bouncy. Are my shocks/struts worn and need to be replaced or what?

I'm sure they have a lot to do with it. The first thing I would check though is the balance of the tires/wheels. Then I would start looking at loose suspension parts or engine/trans mounts. The problem with your setup is that there is barely any tire sidewall to work with your suspension to absorbroad vibration. It goes straight through the tires, through the wheels and into the seat of your pants as everything starts to vibrate. New shocks/struts will always help but maybe not enough to diminish the enherent characteristics of such low profile tires.

Hope this helps.
