Exclamation Something doesn't sound right!

Ok, my truck is a 1998 F-150 4.2 RWD with 61,000 miles on it and recently I have been hearing what sounds like something metal dragging the ground. This started about 3 or 4 days ago and I have no idea what it is. It sounds like it is coming from behind the front-left tire and now it sounds like it has spread the front-right tire as well. Because you know how it sounds when you get a tree branch caught on the underbody of the truck? That's exactly what it sounds like. But it only does this at speeds above 35 MPH and on bumpy roads that it makes this sound. Below the 35 MPH mark it doesn't make a sound. And it was about 3-4 days ago when my whinny power steering pump finally hushed down. I don't have to fight the wheel to make it turn or anything, turns like it normally does. And today I was driving on the Interstate and got ALOT of vibration in the steering wheel. I checked to see if I was dragging anything but it was clear of debris and nothing was hanging down or looked broken on the underbody of the truck. Somebody please tell me whats going on!
