Default Spare Tire & Tools

I just checked the air in my spare tire. 2010 F150. Figured it was time. Sure enough 12 pounds. What a pain in the ***. Without the owners manual I would not have been able to either locate nor remove the jack and jack handle/tire tool. My wife would not have been able to remove it and I doubt most recent college grads would either. Then moving to the back to lower the tire. Ford didn't give you an extra inch of tire tool. You have to turn the crank 1/2 turn at a time then remove it and go another 1/2 turn. After doing this about 100 times the tire in low enough to check. I love my truck but if I had been stranded on the side of the road with a flat I would have probably headed straight to the Chevy dealer once I had the tire changed.
