Default Timing Set question

1986 F-150 302 V8 4x4 4WD / I think its got the Bronco Engine in it.

anyways I have the crank shaft set with the time marker TDC and #1 piston is is also set, I was just wondering though does the rotor in the distributer cap have to be lined up with #1 terminal on the distributor cap in the firing order as well, or is it that 180 or 160 degree thing? Was having trouble understanding that in my Blue book Haynes Manual.

The rotor should be close to the #1 position.
