Default Trailer brake controller - not working

I installed the Ford OEM trailer brake controller in my 2012 Frod F150. It was very easy to install. I then took the truck tot he ford dealer and had the computer updated and it all showed as working. Now I'm home and when I hook up the trailer is reads NO trailer or Trailer disconneected. Here's what I've done to test the system myself at home.

Unplgged the factory plug from the receptacle and tested all connections. All lights, brake light and flashers work. When I have my wife squeeze the brake controller, there is no power to the test light at the trailer probe. (blue wire).

I've changed the plug receptacle to a new one.

All connections are perfectly clean and have electrical grease applied.

It appears that there is just no brake signal making to the plug at the rear.

Any suggestions before I give up and just take it in to the dealer and get hosed for them to fix?
