i would like to know what size gears my transmission has in it. i would also like to know the model number for it. after a few unseucessful attempts to try and find this info. i have pretty much given up. does anyone know whattransmission is in a 1987 F-150 lariat. V8 302 FI??? please help im trying to makethis a good truck.

 

Look on the data plate/sticker in the door jamb.. Whats the trans code listed?

 

Only a few type transmissions were made and whether or not it's 4 wheel drive can make a difference. Also - Is it automatic or standard (stick, manual) shift?
