Default Transmission Leak (Front of Torque Converter)

Hi,

I have a transmission leak from a component just in front of the torque converter. I don't know what this component is called, but it's metal and rectangular in shape and it looks like a plate covers the bottom. It also has what looks like a drain plug (Bolt with washer). It seems to be leaking at this "drain plug".

Can someone offer some advice on what this component is?

Sorry, I'm no mechanic. :-)

1999 Ford F150 - Automatic

Thanks.

This is a picture of the area I'm leaking trnsmission fluid from. Maybe someone can tell me what this component is? It does connect to the Torque Converter. Maybe it just need another drain plug.
