Default Truck wont start

My 1991 F150, 8cyl, auto would not start today. When I turn the key there is one click and the engine does not turn over. Had the battery checked, cleaned the connections, same issue. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Harley

there are times when the cables get bad on the inside and fails to complete the circuit thus giving the same symptoms of a weak battery or loose connections. ford doesn't make those cables any more so replacing them gets to be a chore

Thanks grindman. I will replace both cables and give it a try.
