Default VIN Error??

I am brand new here and asking for specific help. My son is looking at purchasing a used 2011 Fi50 at the local Chevy dealer.
The dealer has the vehicle listed as an XLT, yet when we put the VIN in a VIN decoder site https://vindecoder.eu/check-vin/1FTFX1EF2BFA20596
we found that the vehicle is an XL. My son and the salesman are off by a magnitude of a couple thousand dollars. He contacted the Ford dealer and a salesman there states the truck is an XLT, because it has a "convenience package", including chrome door handles, chrome wheels, power seat, lumbar support, with trailer brake assist (he states that means tow package). I am wondering if this truck is an XL with some add ons at the time of original purchase, When I bought my truck, I was able to cherry pick my options too.
I'm trying to stay out of this as much as possible because my son needs to learn what buying a vehicle is like. However, I hate the ambiguity offered by the Chevy dealer and a young Ford salesman across the street.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thank You!

It was actually another VIN site we found that stated it was an XL. This site clearly states XLT, and is the newer one I had not really investigated. I will check your info. Thank You!
