1984 F150, new wiper motor, new wiper switch, runs a short time and stops, starts again in short time and stops, connections at motor and swich are o.k.

just to let anyone know that is having the same problem, I cut the wires with the connection for the motor from a truck at the junk yard and spliced it into my wires. this solved the problem.
