My 2001 f-150 wont shift out of park. I can turn the key two clicks and shift into neutral to start it. Also, my wipers and power windows stopped working. Can anyone help??

 

For the shifting out of park, first check to see if the brake lights work. If they do not work, check all fuses. If all the fuses are good, check the stop light switch. The windows and wipers may be fuse related also.

after 2 long years of fighting gremlins in my electrical 2002 F 150 Super Crew
we found why it would not come out of park, windows dont' work, wipers, inside lights, cruise control, sometimes radio and outside cargo lamp would not work,
we keep hearing about Ford windows leaking onto computer and fuse box and shorts it out...send me an email and Ill send pictures of what to look for...quit looking and go get a new fuse box assembly at wrecking yard or dealer... it will not go away...lucky we did not have fire...the inside of fuse box is corroded and has melted in several places...this is the problem if you are having weird electrical problems rick@steelform.us

Don't know how many will be willing to tackle the job, but you did lead them to the water, so to speak.

 

all the fuses are good now and still wont work and wont get out of park either.... Please help me.
