08 F250 5.4 cats help
The guy before me that had this pickup had the cats gutted out so it throws codes and gets bad gas mileage so I was wondering if a programmer would get rid of the codes or something and I don't want to spend $500 on a couple cats

The PCM uses the sensor info after the cats. Fuel trim can also be really affected by actions of those sensors. Is there any way you can get the cats from a salvage yard?
I'm not into altering emission systems and don't know if any kind of programmer will be of any help here.
