just bought an 08 crew cab and need to know what i can do to improve fuel mileage and how to turn off the seat belt buzzer. I know there are programmers available to improve hp and mileage but does that screw up my warranty and if i pull the program out before i take the truck to the service shop can they tell if it was programed any advice will help thanks

 

the seat belt buzzer can be turned off , the instructions are in your owners manual. you have to look real close as the dont really want them turned off.

you could just get a short belt extender and leave it in and that stops the buzzing

 

bucket the belt then set on the belt.as far as improving gas mileage reprograg the computer.
