Default 1987 F-250 instrument cluster not working

THis truck has about 180,000 miles on it and now the instrument cluster has stopped working. Is there anyone else that has had this problem. IT started with the fuel gage not working then the oil pressure and now nothing works, except the spedometer. Please help with any ideas.

Have you checked the dash circuit board itself?
It sounds like it may have a short somewhere.

Also check the wiring that goes to your gauges.

I'm not positive on this , but the older vehicles had a voltage regulator on the back of the instrument cluster. If you can, check see if the gauges all have a voltage directed to each of them.
Some of the later instrument clusters had a built in voltage regulator in the temp gauge which then supplied the other gauges.
This goes back some and the "ole memory" aint what she usta be !
