I have a 1987 Ford F350 2wd 460 auto, I need to replace the c6 transmission. I was thinking of putting in a E4OD for better mpg but I heard they overheat often and I live in Phx AZ so I don't know if it is worth the risk. I use the truck mostly for freeway driving. Do you know of a better option?
