Default 1999 F250 Rear end problem..! help

I have a 1999 F250 v10 4X4 had a major howl in it, so I took it apart and found out that the side bearing race was damaged pieces missing, so I replaced side bearings and races, as well the pinion bearings and races, and put it back together torqued it down to 30FLB and now it has a whine in the rear end, and is getting HOT! any suggestions would be great.

I think the pinion nut may be torqued down to tight...?

also it's a 10.5 ford rear end

thanks for the help in advance

Anytime the pinion bearings are replaced the 'crush sleeve' between the inner/outer pinion bearings 'must' be replaced and the new bearing preload set by tightening the pinion nut/crush down to spec bearing preload for a rotational drag in lbs/in..
