Default 2000 F250 5.4L Starting problem

I have a 2000 F250 w/5.4L Appox 47K miles. It will not start on it's own. I have to use starting fluid to get it started. Once I do that it will start normally until it sits a few hours. I have cleaned the ICA and the MAF. Fuel pressure does seem good. We put a light on the #1 injector connector and found it wasn't being pulsed till it starts with the starting fluid , then everything works normally. Checked with a scanner it does not display any error codes. There is no check engine light. Any ideas?

Well I think I found the problem. It was a loose connection at the Crankshaft position sensor.

Seems to me the bigger problem is the fact that you own a late model F-150.

I don't think I understand what you mean. I don't own a late model F150.
