2002 F250 Gauges frozen

2002 F250 Gauges frozen
I have a good one for any ford techs:
This seems to be random.
1) I hear a beep , similar to a low fuel warning.
2) All my gauges reset to 0 then full scale...This sometimes happens more then once.
3) Then all guages freeze where the were, all warning lights stay on.
This problem can be fixed by removing the battery lead to reset the system.
Truck continues to drive fine
