Default 2003 F250 Trailer brake wiring

The truck came with the factory tow package. I found the trailer brake adapter in the glovebox but I can't find where it plugs in under the dash. I did find 4 wires without a plug that the colors match that run from under the dash thru the firewall. They aren't hooked up to anything out there.

Thanks,
Randy

The wires that run through the firewall are 'customer access' wires (firewall pass through) and aren't for the brake controller.. Remove the drivers/lower dash access panel, look over to the far upper rightand you'll see the dash support braket with attachedgrounds.. Around the 'back side' of the bracket you shouldsee the controller connector.. May be snapped into a cover/plug..
