No I’m not at all and I was thinking it might be a head gasket and I’ve lost quite a bit of power like I’m not throwing any codes loosing any coolant or anything and I have no clue what to do but check my head gasket

If you're not using any coolant your head gasket is probably OK. Do you have a boost gauge on an 04? If so, is your boost low or normal?

If you download ForScan Lite to a smartphone and buy an ELM327 OBDII adapter, you can see all engine parameters (including MAP sensor, EBP sensor, VGT % duty cycle, and Barometer readings). It is a very good code reader ....... many supposed code readers do a very INCOMPLETE job!

The information from the above sensors and actuators should help us troubleshoot..

Get readings at Key-On_Engine_Off, cranking (if possible), cold idle, and hot idle.

In the meantime, look to see if the VGT controller on the turbo is plugged in. The connector gets brittle easily (from the heat).

You might also check the EGR valve if yu still have an active EGR system. You could remove it to see if it (or the intake manifold) was plugged with solids.

Could also be a plugged turbo - the actuator ring that rotates the "variable vanes" on the turbine wheel might be plugged with carbon. The remedy for this is to remove, disassemble, clean, and re-install the turbo.

ForScan vs. Torque

I use the "Torque" app for my phone. Is ForScan better than Torque or are they basically the same?

I like Torque better, but ForScan reads codes more thoroughly from my experience
