2004 F350 SRD, Crew Cab Newbie help
Ok so I will come clean I have been a Dodge diesel guy but time to get a new truck and I have fallen in love with a 36,000 mile babied F350. This is a 4X4 SRD. 534 V8I haul horses and can be up to 8500 with a 5th wheel. Will this one do it , has the standard V8 but the owner said it has the "towing rear end" . I am asking he confirms
so the simple questions - good , bad truck?
Flaws? advantages. what do I need to look for, what is the general satisfaction level. anyor all info will be helpful. this baby is loaded as far as I can tell. It does not have integrated towing , so I will have to put in the electronics for that - comments? Can anyone provide details on towing, HP
I also have to add the 5th wheel
Offer stands at 20K , sound reasonable
thanks in advance - any comments welcome
gas mileage?

RE: 2004 F350 SRD, Crew Cab Newbie help
Seems like any 350 with any engine or gears should just play with 8500lbs! I regularly pull 12000 and use the little tow button when I get bored. Have pulled about 25000 with no problems and know a guy who, until we figured his weight, was pulling 30 to 35000lbs regularly, but since then he does use his semi more!
