Default 2004 Ford Super Duty-wont start

Have had no problems with this truck until the other day, Drove to the post office (about 6 miles) turned truck off and the it wont start? Just turns over and over but wont fire. Had low fuel pump pressure so replaced that and filters and now lots of pressure but still wont start? Anyone out there that can help me out. It is a $850 tow bill to the closest mechanic with a good computer.

When you cycle the key to 'ON' do you hear the injectors pre cycle?

You may hear the vacuum pump as well on the right inner fender apron running, but check to see if the hear the injectors cycling.. You should also hear the fuel pump run, but guessing it does since you checked and replaced the pump module.. Could be a FICM (fuel injection control module) problem, or HPOP (high pressure oil) delivery/pressure issue..

Thanks, I have a mechanic (but doesn't have a computer) coming today to see if he can figure out something. Maybe we can rig up something to test the HPOP? Is there anything I can do to test the FICM?

A scan tool that could access the system PIDS (information display) would be a HUGE help in a diagnosis of both..

Have him/you first cycle the key ON,, listen out in the engine bay for the injectors pre cycling.. It will sound like a buzz/clicking.. If none, listen and check the FICM relay out in the Aux Relay Box.. Click'n?,, when the key is cycled on/off..
